This is an interesting month, because we have Venus retrograde in Leo for the whole month, which is definitely affecting his perceptions, outlook, and the general vibe that he’s picking up from your relationship.
Mercury goes into a station then turns retrograde in Virgo which is very important as Mercury rules his solar 7th house of long-term relationships and marriage, and we have Mars going into Virgo which is quite exciting when it comes to new goals, leadership roles, and establishing some prominence in terms of his career.
Basically, he is in quite an expansive, yet easily frustrated frame of mind this month and he’s not always great at articulating his intentions, so you have to stay on your toes.
Venus retrograde in Leo – All of August
Sagittarius Guy tends to have a really weak understanding of what he really wants at the moment, he can tend to snatch at things and he often has unrealistic expectations. This can partly be due to his personality, but it’s also because he has perhaps misjudged certain situations.
So in terms of your relationship, this may be a time when it’s imperative for you guys to have a chat about your understanding of where the relationship is at. So even if you guys are on a totally different page, at least you’ll know what’s going on and can take it from there.
It’s also very important right now for you guys to let go of any resentments that have built up. If there’s anything bothering you i.e. something you haven’t been able to quite let go of, or maybe there are some questions you have of him (if you’ve only recently begun dating) this is a great time to get those out the way.

New Moon in Leo – 16th August
The New Moon happens in Leo conjunct the retrograde Venus, also in Leo, this can cause him to be quite presumptuous. In a relationship, he tends to be a bad listener and he can often get carried away. He can misconstrue your intentions and so it’s very important to communicate with him repeatedly about an issue if you want to get your point home.
He tends to be very distracted right now, he’s interested in doing a little bit of this, a little bit of that and it’s hard for you really to understand where he’s at. If you are dating Sagittarius Guy, this may be a difficult month for you to progress the relationship and you make question if he’s that interested. He’s quite eager for adventure right now, he wants to cast aside anything in his life that’s stale and this can mean he goes chasing after some new avenues, but this can cause a little bit of insecurity for the family because it may create doubt on exactly what the future will entail. However, remember, you are just going to take a wait and see attitude, because not everything that he tries right now will come off.
Mercury retrograde in Virgo – 24th August
It’s very important for you guys not to come to any solid decisions. This is a month where you should both brainstorm and explore different ideas, but certainly keep an open mind. It may also be the case that you guys have to look at recent decisions and decide whether they really were good for you, the relationship and for your future.
It’s often difficult for Sagittarius to admit he is wrong, he tends to be quite pig headed and he can double down, but right now you guys just to be versatile as things are not exactly what they seem and there’s no problem admitting that you’ve made a mistake. A time for him to improve his relationships your parents. Good for working in the community and reaching out.

Week 1 – Hot Starlight
This is an excellent week for your sex life, it’s perfect if you can find a little bit of time to just do it, you and Sagittarius Guy, no excuses, no dithering, just do it.
If you’re able to go away for a weekend, great, or alternatively send the kids off to the grandparents as that can be an ideal window of opportunity.
